VS-GW2120 GSM Series

The OpenVox VoxStack Series GSM Gateway is the first open-source Asterisk-based VoIP GSM gateway solution for SMEs and SOHOs. With a user-friendly web interface and a unique modular design, users can easily configure their customized gateway. Secondary development can also be carried out via AMI (Asterisk Management Interface).

There are three GSM gateway models in the VoxStack Series: the VS-GW1202 Series, the VS-GW1600 GSM Series, and the VS-GW2120 Series. The new modular VS-GW2120 Series GSM gateway can accommodate up to 11 GSM modules, supporting 4 to 44 GSM channels and 3 Ethernet ports. It was developed to interconnect a wide selection of codecs, including G.711A, G.711U, G.729, G.722, G.723, G.726 & GSM, with GSM cellular networks to quickly reduce telecommunication expenses and maximize savings. Thanks to its unique design, the VoxStack gateway supports hot-swapping SIM cards and GSM modules. Users can simply add or remove modules for hardware expansion or replacement. Each GSM module runs an independent Asterisk system.

The VoxStack Gateway is equipped with a LAN switch card that enables stacking during hardware upgrades. It supports sending and receiving SMS, bulk sending, and SMS-to-email conversion. GSM gateways use the standard SIP protocol and are compatible with IMS/NGN platforms, IPPBX systems, and SIP servers, supporting most VoIP platforms such as Asterisk, Elastix, 3CX, FreeSWITCH, Broadsoft, etc.
